In loving memory of Chloe:

In Loving Memory of Chloe
Our sweet, loving, caring, Chloe crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday 2-21-24. Chloe was a beautiful 15 years old yellow lab that came to us when she was only 7 weeks old. Chloe wasn’t your typical yellow Lab, she happened to be a Dudley, which meant that she didn’t have pigmentation on her nose, muzzle, paw pads and eye rims, it made her even more unique.  She was my shadow, and I loved that no matter where I went in the house she followed me. She was loving, warm, and always had to be where the humans were. She became the big sister  to our rescue Leia and our silver Lab Sterling, and as such she was a great big sister.  Our hearts are broken that she is no longer with us, but we are also at peace that Chloe is now in Heaven playing with her other sisters Shayla and Vader, and no longer suffering. Till I see you again my sweet girl.

In loving memory of Copper:

Our precious dog Copper is “resting in peace” now.  He had beautiful, copper colored, soft fur and a glorious tail. We will always remember his sweet cuddles and bountiful energy. He would sit behind us on top of the sofa cushion, nestling his head against our head, resting his chin on our shoulder. We miss him so.

Thank you Peaceful Paws LA for your compassionate care throughout the entire process.

In loving memory of Mamas:

Mamas Chocolate Rosales lived from 2005 to 2023. You would never meet a sweeter, enthusiastic, energetic, and cuddly chihuahua than Mamas. I was 6 when she was given to me. At first glance, I immediately knew she would be my best friend and how her fur looked. I named her chocolate. She decided against this and stole my nickname. This made our bond even greater. Not only was she my best friend, daughter, and much more, but she was my light at the end of the tunnel of many challenges I have faced in my life. I never felt alone with her around. She had seen my highs and lows and still stayed with me through it all. I’m grateful for her and all that she has done for me, she lived a long, full life of 18 years. She’s in a much better place now, and I hope she’s still the happiest puppy doing what she loves most in Heaven with my grandfather and past dogs. Also, weighing at 3 pounds of pure love she was the strongest companion that walked through life with me, I will miss her and will never forget her, my heart breaks to have her gone but I know she will always be with me and my family.

In loving memory of Dusty Rose and Pepper:

Here are our girls. Dusty was a German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix. She is the larger of the two dogs in the picture. Pepper was a Blue Healer. They were three years apart in age and loved going on walks. Dusty was 11 and Pepper was 8 in this picture taken at Bridgeport, CA. Camping was the perfect opportunity to hike in open spaces. They had to be on lashes because they loved to chase deer.

We said our final goodbye to Dusty in Aug 2022 and to Pepper in Jun 2023. We appreciate the staff of Peaceful Paws for providing us with comfort during through this difficult time. We miss our girls and will forever hold them in our hearts.

In loving memory of Walter:

Walter you left us too soon.  We hope that you know we loved you very much and that your time with us was the happiest of your very tough life.

In loving memory of Lady Lulu:

Lady Lulu - "the luckiest lady in town" is what we used to say about her when she was first adopted.  Turns out, we were the luckiest family in town to have her in our lives.  A sweet tiny schnauzer with a loud bark, she always preferred hanging out with people (instead of other dogs) no matter where she went.  We're thankful to have had her with us for such a long time, and for our kids to have experienced growing up with a dog as sweet as she was.  We're sad to see you go, but happy to know you're not in pain anymore.  Lulu, you will be in our hearts forever.

In loving memory of Annie:

Annie; Sweet, playful, loving, smart, a character!  We will miss you Annie Fo Fanny

In loving memory of Luna:

Luna, the sweetest pup in all the land. You were a constant source of joy and love in our lives. We’ve been on many amazing adventures together and are grateful to have shared them with you. We hope to have given you a happy and fulfilling life despite all the hardships you’ve endured. You will be greatly missed and never forgotten. We love you beyond words. Your presence will live in our hearts forever. Rest easy our little Luna.

In loving memory of Dior:

Dior or princess diva dior or Pori or dori, was the most beautiful dog and my very bestfriend. She enjoyed laying in the sunlight and a good blanket/lap to lay in. She is beyond missed everyday by her fur brother, myself her mama, her brother and her dad!

In loving memory of Stanley:

Stanley had a long, full life and although he will be missed we are grateful to have had 16 years with him. Thank you Dr. Chan for your kindness. You made Stan’s passing incredibly peaceful and we can’t thank you enough.

In loving memory of Blu:

Blu chose me when he saw me at the pound. He was that kitty meowing, purring and clawing at the bars. He was around a year old when we got him and we got to love on him for 10 1/2 years. He got sick suddenly. And we had to say goodbye. But we know he’s up there meowing at his Grandpas and meowing his head off. We were so lucky to have him for as long as we did. This picture is our favorite one. Thank you for choosing me Blu.

In loving memory of Buddha:

I am attaching a picture of Buddha doing what he loved, baking in the sun.

I found Buddha on the C train in NYC over 12 years ago. Since then he has been my best friend and companion. He was a gentle giant who loved people, and really rewrote the misinformed fears of people on pit bulls all his life. Peaceful Paws allowed us to have everyone who loved him most in the room to say a peaceful goodbye and we are forever grateful..

In loving memory of Bean:

Full of energy and a real sun seeker, Bean was most loyal to her dad Justin and mom Liza and leaves behind lots of memories shared with her brother Orion and sister Sienna. Over the rainbow bridge Bean has found Fooz and Diva and is no doubt stealing the toys from their mouths!

In loving memory of Shiki

8/1/2011 ~ 1/1/23

Shiki joined our family in 2012, barely 1 year old, but already fully grown. His birth name was Shere Khan, named after the Jungle Book character. His demeanor was far from tiger-like. He jumped at every sneeze or loud sound. But surprisingly, he managed to travel to Europe and back! Along the way, he made new human friends and touched snow for the first time! His favorite thing to do was fling his green toy upwards into the air and catch it. It seemed as if he were practicing for playing fetch – which he did, on occasion. Whenever he had the "zoomies," we'd hold still to prevent injury from being mowed over. Living with him was never a dull day.

We were blessed to have him in our lives and he will be forever in our hearts.

In loving memory of Cooper:
What can I say but Cooper was the best pet we could have ever asked for!

I want to thank Dr. Chan and staff comforting and explaining every step to us through the transition.

Love is Watching Someone Die 💔 - Death Can for Cutie

Princeton, aka Pan, aka Little Dog, aka Princeto, aka Prince took his final breath on November 5, 2022 and crossed the rainbow bridge after a courageous battle with CHF; he was only 6.

All of my dogs have a Greek name, and for Princeton, I chose Pan. In Greek mythology, his essence as the God of the wild, imbued his surroundings with life and vitality. Nature was at its most bountiful when Pan was present. Princeton and I did and saw more in 7 months together than many people, never mind you dogs, do in a lifetime. Although our time was short, and ended abruptly, I’m so happy he chose me to spend the end of his life with. 🥰 Apollo and I are missing you already. I hope there are all the ground squirrels and lambies and bison for you to chase in heaven. Until we meet again, Little Dog 🐾🌈💙 I love you.

Jp, he was super friendly, loved being outdoors he was such a big cry baby. We had many adventures together I love you JP and miss you. RIP 12/09/2009-10/09/2022

Luna transitioned to a place where she is doing what she does best. Those who knew her in person or knew who she was and did…we all just got a spirit animal.
Since 2013 Luna gave strength & happiness to thousands of children & parents, doctors & nurses, and staff & visitors through the amazing Dog Therapy program at CHLA — which is funded entirely by donors. Luna’s ‘collie-gues’ march on while giving her the 21 tail salute.
Luna’s final moment was at her special spot in her home — of course, belly up — with that smile in her eyes that we all got to know so well.

I adopted Teddy early in the pandemic right after moving into a dog friendly place. At 8 years old he’d spent half his life in a no-kill shelter after his original owner fell ill when he was a puppy so he grew up under socialized and afraid of people. The shelter warned me he was suspicious of people but I always had a soft spot for gently used seniors, especially the grumpy ones. Sadly his health deteriorated and he had to cross the Rainbow Bridge 8 months later. But his last few months he learned about dog beds, comfy carpets, and on his final days he had burgers and bacon.
